The study examined effect of digitalization on the performance of selected small and medium enterprises in Lagos State This study employed across-sectional survey research design. The study&#8217;s target population consisted of small medium enterprises (SMEs) in Lagos state, Nigeria. A sample size of 381 SMEs was derived and through sampling techniques (purposive and snowball) employed in the administration of the research instrument. Data required were collected from SMEs in Lagos state via a structured questionnaire that contained close ended questions with limited options for respondents to choose from. The study adopted a test-retest and Cronbach alpha reliability on questionnaire administered to the SMEs. Cronbach alpha was also employed to assess the dependability of the instrument. Data were analyzed using inferential and non-inferential statistics such as simple table percentages and regression analysis. The study findings show that that technology adoption. technological trend, and digital capability has a positive effect on the performance of selected SMEs in Lagos State. The study implications are that digitalization has significant effects of the internationalization process of small and medium enterprises in Lagos state, Nigeria.
