Employing a survey research design, data was collected from 226 respondents, including 217 residents and 9 local vendors, selected using Taro Yamane\u2019s formula. A structured questionnaire, featuring both open-ended and five-point Likert scale questions, was utilized to assess consumer perception, cost implications, and market feasibility. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis. Findings reveal a strong consumer interest in modern beef packaging due to its potential to improve hygiene, extend shelf life, and enhance market appeal. However, major barriers to adoption include high packaging costs, lack of technical knowledge, inadequate infrastructure, and weak government support. To address these barriers, the study recommends subsidizing packaging materials to enhance affordability, implementing training programs for vendors, and investing in cold chain infrastructure. Additionally, consumer awareness campaigns should be introduced to promote the benefits of modern packaging, fostering a cultural shift toward hygienic meat sales.
