Abstract<\/strong>
The need to understand the factors that influenced parent purchasing decisions for their children continues to pique the interest of manufacturers and marketers worldwide. The study set out to investigate the determinants of parental buying decision for children in Lagos State, Nigeria. The study adopts descriptive research design, based on the cross sectional survey. Four hundred (400) copies of questionnaire were administered on the parents out of which 250 were retrieved and the data collected were analysed using a multple-regression method with the aids of SPSS. The study revealed that, education of the children and income level of parents have positive significant relationship with parental buying decision making process in Nigeria. The study recommends that, both parents and government should ensure that children are given priority as quality education can make children to be good decision makers and contribute to the development of their communities.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
